This website is operated by Darvin LLC under the name Darvin Kitchen ("Darvin Kitchen," "we," "us"), based in Bradenton, Florida. This Cookie Policy is part of our Privacy Policy.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They let a site or a service recognize your browser on a later visit. A first-party cookie belongs to the website you are visiting. A third-party cookie belongs to another company's domain. Session cookies disappear when you close your browser, while persistent cookies stay until they expire or you delete them. A tracking pixel is a small piece of code that reports page actions to another company.

Which cookies does this site use?

The cookies we know of come from two tools: Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel. Google Tag Manager loads both. As of the date above, the site has no accounts or shopping cart, so it does not need cookies for sign-in or checkout, and its fonts and images load from its own domain. If we add a form handler, chat, map or embedded video, those services may set cookies of their own, and we will update this page. The table follows Google's and Meta's official documentation and gives a duration only where it states one.

CookieSet byWhat it is forHow long it lasts
_gaGoogle Analytics 4Distinguishes users, so we can count visitors and see which pages get used.2 years by default, per Google. Browsers may shorten this.
_ga_<container-id>Google Analytics 4Persists session state, such as grouping page views into one visit.2 years by default, per Google.
_fbpMeta PixelStores a unique browser identifier that the Pixel creates and sends with ad-measurement events. Not stated in the Meta documentation we reviewed.
_fbcMeta PixelStores the Meta click ID (fbclid) when you arrive from a Meta ad link. Set only in that case. Not stated by Meta for cookies the Pixel sets.

Google says its Analytics tags use first-party cookies, and Meta says the Pixel saves the _fbp cookie for the website domain. Meta also says the Pixel can use first-party and third-party cookies together, and that this is the default setting. Meta sets the names and lifetimes of its third-party cookies. See Meta's Cookies Policy and Google's advertising and measurement cookie reference.

What do these tools record?

They record how you use the site and three actions, and they send that data to Google and Meta. Google Analytics 4 records page visits and these actions: tapping our phone number (click_phone), tapping our email address (click_email) and submitting the consultation form (generate_lead). Meta Pixel records page views and reports the same actions as Contact (phone and email taps) and Lead (form submission) events. Our Privacy Policy explains how we use this data. The form action is recorded only after our server has accepted your request. These events are not meant to include the details you type into the form.

No. This site does not currently show a cookie banner or consent prompt. The analytics and advertising tags load when a page opens. You can limit them with your browser settings and the opt-out tools below. If we add a consent tool later, we will update this page.

How can you turn off or limit cookies?

You can block or delete cookies in your browser at any time, and you can opt out of Google Analytics and Meta ad measurement with the tools below. The site should keep working if you block cookies, but your visit may not be counted.

Many opt-outs are stored in a cookie, so they apply to one browser on one device. You may need to repeat them if you clear cookies or switch devices.

Does this site respond to Global Privacy Control?

No. This site is not currently set up to detect or respond to Global Privacy Control signals. Global Privacy Control (GPC) is a browser setting or extension that tells websites you do not want your personal information sold or shared. Our analytics and advertising tags load whether or not your browser sends this signal. The same is true for the "Do Not Track" setting. To limit tracking, use the choices above. If this changes, we will update this page.

How do cookies relate to your personal information?

Data collected through cookies can be linked to your browser and may count as personal information. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who receives it and how to ask us about it. Use of this site is also subject to our Terms of Use.

Can this policy change?

Yes. We may update it when our tools or the law change. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the latest version.
